about Allie:
Bourdain-inspired, raw, unfiltered, gritty, spicy, coffee-fueled, down to earth traveler. I've always been a lost, searching soul finding solace in the unpredictability of travel. seeking a space for organizing my thoughts, chronicling my adventures, and inspiring others to explore the world beyond their screens... thus i created this site.
As a street food and chaos junkie, I thrive on spontaneous travel and experiencing cultures through their delicious comestibles. Every trip alters my perception of reality, this simulation, whatever. it's when i feel the most alive, least depressed... the lightest and most free. my dream is to traverse the planet, savoring its cultures and cuisines.
here you'll find a log of travels, meals, guides, tips, jokes, products, videos, photos, and whatever other madness we dive into... scribing my boyfriend's and my experiences on this ride here on planet Earth.
bon appétit.

about Tim:
according to this random website i found, i’ve visited 6% of planet earth. 3 continents. 14 countries. but i was always either out filming on the soccer pitch or back in my hotel room editing a million videos on tight deadlines, so i never got to truly experience the places i’ve gone. it left me yearning for more.
Still, i’m incredibly lucky. i’ve waved to Obama’s motorcade in the middle of Buenos Aires. i’ve swam in the Adriatic sea. i’ve eaten fresh carbonara with a glass of red wine on the edge of the Venice Canal - twice. swam with turtles and snorkeled in the Bahamas. tried rabbit in Croatia. had the best barbecue of my life in the middle of nowhere Jamaica. bought myself a crepe and a coffee at the base of the Eiffel Tower. i even ate a chicken heart once while in Argentina!
i’ve had so many life changing experiences, and you know what’s crazy? i didn’t realize until writing this that almost all of my favorite memories from my travels surround the different types of food i got to try.
and guess what? i fell in love with a girl who is obsessed with travel, and an absolutely incredible cook. a guy couldn’t get luckier.
and now, we’re starting a new journey. one we take together - photographing, tasting, experiencing, living. let's go.
bon voyage.

our journey.
Tim and I have somehow managed to exist within around a remarkable 13 minute proximity to each other most of our lives, unbeknownst to us until fate brought us together. the connection began in Virginia, where as babies we resided just 13 minutes apart, even though Tim was born in Pennsylvania. Later, in high school in Upstate New York, the same cosmic alignment placed us again within 13 minutes' radius. then the 2020 pandemic, brings us living again a mere 13 minutes down the road from each other once more. This synchronicity feels like more than mere chance; it resonates with the theory of quantum entanglement, suggesting our lives are intertwined by an unseen force. our paths converging feels destined. you might call it fate. our journey together began officially on October 13th, 2021 when we started dating. we've since explored various states from Chicago to Tennessee. only separately have we travelled internationally to many different countries, prior to our relationship. in any case, our upcoming three-week journey to Vietnam marks our first major overseas trip together, a testament to the journey we've still truly only just begun.
